The short film, which also serves as the music video for So Slowly by Brooklyn alternative band Minaxi, explores the illusion of control. Set against a futuristic and sterile backdrop, the story delves into the addiction and misuse of technology, the fleeting sense of control and validation it provides, and the resulting impact on human emotion when that illusion is shattered.

The interfaces and motion graphics were designed and animated in Adobe After Effects. The following videos provide a glimpse into this process.

The kinetic typography was manually synchronized to the audio and then animated via keyframes and camera movement in Adobe After Effects.

Key lighting moments, camera position and blocking moments were problem-solved in the storyboarding process using the design thinking framework.
