TEUFLIN/SHE-DEVIL is an evolving interdisciplinary performance
piece and graphic score created by Luisa Muhr, incorporating
texts from Goethe’s Faust. The piece challenges the concept of
“evil” through a woman’s perspective while questioning the
distinction between “good” and “evil,” particularly within
Western traditions.
The album artwork is a collage- and color-driven exploration of Muhr’s graphic scores. Its visual language, palette, and the chiseled transitional serif Avara—designed by Raphaël Bastide—are all drawn from the historical and artistic context of the work.
